Book on Healing & Freedom Turns Bestseller

Kolkata, Feb. 8. A 116 page booklet by renowned Kolkata Charismatic preacher is bestseller going into fourth re-print this year. Already 30,000 copies of the book entitled Healing & Freedom by Coordinator of Calcutta Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (CCCRS) Fr. C. J. Sebastian has been sold out in three years. Former member of the Catholic Charismatic National Service Team, Fr Sebastian is also coordinator of Charismatic programmes in Kolkata archdiocese. Founder-director of 14 year old CCCRS Fr Sebastian is based in Nitika Don Bosco and operates also from Divine Mercy Renewal Centre (DMRC) at Sacred Heart Church Dharamtala Kolkata.

A CCCRS publication, the book contains prayers for 55 life situations such as crisis, tension, addiction, and rejection. Each theme is developed in a two-page format which contains an existential prayer followed by relevant scripture passages.
Other popular books by Fr Sebastian are: My Daily Way of the Cross (2010), Healer Heal Me (2009), I Rejoice in Your Promises (2009) and a Prayer Book in Bengali.
I Rejoice in Your Promises is 270 page booklet to help understanding and reflection on the word of God. Divided into 11 sections the book concludes with a one, two or three year plan for reading through the Scriptures.
Besides Youth For Christ for teenagers, CCCRS has also Christeen for children. CCCRS hold Intercession ministry every Monday at Don Bosco Nitika, healing services in English on Wednesdays and in Bengali on Friday at the DMRC.
CCCRS Kolkata`s flagship publication is called ``STREAMS of Living Water`` a bimonthly publication edited by Dr. Jose Aymanathil SDB. It was started in 1993.
